“Is it Mercury retrograde already?”
It sure felt like that this past week. I double-checked the calendar. Nope. Mercury is on good behavior at the moment, so the tech gremlins cannot be blamed on the planets.
“Am I technology cursed?”
That was my second thought. I’d like to think I’m savvy, but the recent spate of technology issues made me doubt my own computer literacy. However, I don’t believe in curses, so can’t point a finger at some vindictive wizard. Why would they bother with something trivial like audio problems?
“Is it me?”
Self-doubt crept in and seeped in as a few folks decided to push past my carefully laid boundaries. My “no” was disregarded in some cases, while others wanted more, more, more of my time, energy, and whatever they felt entitled to (no, I am not in the mood to send you free copies of the astrology kit).
“What the eff?”
No matter how hard we work on ourselves (or technology), we all fall into the trap of looking for someone or something to blame when things go awry. But the truth is, sometimes things just go wrong…and people are simply people. There’s nothing more to it. No planetary hijinks, no hidden agendas, and nothing you did wrong. Sometimes there are things for other people to solve. Let the tech people handle it.
It just is the way it is, and while this “it” is happening, it sucks.
So, deep breaths, head down, shoulders dusted, and into the next week, I go with every planet direct and the tech folks sorting out the messes.
xo
Theresa
