The Hit List - Five great summer reads

I love to read. There is always a stack of books by my side, possibly to ensure I never run out of things to read. Here are five books on my stack that are perfect additions to your summer reading list (psst… no, I don’t always stick to metaphysical topics!).

Everything, Beautiful by Ella Frances Sanders - The Hit List - Five great summer reads

Caroline Donahue recommended this book recently in her Substack. I trust her recommendations, so I grabbed a copy immediately. Everything, Beautiful is a gorgeously illustrated book that is a reminder that there is beauty all around in this ugly ass world.

Raise Your Frequency Transform Your Life by Selina Maitreya The Hit List - Five great summer reads

Raise Your Frequency Transform Your Life is the perfect book for highly sensitive folks who would like to turn their challenges into tools for a peaceful, abundant life. The practices are simple but effective.

Democracy In Retrograde by Sami Sage and Emily Amick - The Hit List - Five great summer reads

Because Project 2025 has me freaking out, I’m reading plenty of books about protecting democracy. I just got this yesterday: Democracy in Retrograde. I can’t wait to dig in!

Radiant by Tess Whitehurst - The Hit List - Five great summer reads

I read this book and found it filled with excellent tips. I just reread the section on boundaries—it’s exactly what I needed. Tess Whitehurst delivers the perfect book for midlife women. I love Radiant!

Writing On Empty by Natalie Goldberg - The Hit List - Five great summer reads

Writers love to read books about writing. Writing On Empty is a new book by Natalie Goldberg. I look forward to working my way through this one!

So those are the current books on my must-read summer list. What’s on yours?

xo,
Theresa
