I’m a busy, busy woman. It’s an army of just me over here at The Tarot Lady hub.
Sure, I have a few hired guns to handle things like tech and art, but all the other stuff? On me. These days, I’m booked to the gills with work and writing. I’ve started working on my next book with a goal of 70,000 words in 70 days. I’m 15 days in and right on track to complete this goal.
There is an immense price that comes with being busy.
When you’re relentlessly pursuing your dreams, you don’t have time for a lot of things. Which means: people get mad at you. You’re not available and they take that personally.
It stinks but when passion calls, you must follow it. You must be ruthless with your time, coveting every single drop until the mission is complete. There is no other way. Ambition is a hard task master.
When you get busy, expect that some of your relationships will suffer. People will get put off. They might go away. The good ones, the ones who get you and support you, will stay.
The one great thing about being busy? No time for drama, b.s., low vibe people or situations. It’s a good trade off.
Between clients, household duties, and writing this new book, my spare time has been spoken for. Every single minute of my day is planned down to the second with zero room for wiggle room. There is none left to give. Which means: I’m going to disappoint you. If you’re looking to hang out, chit chat on the phone, or want a last minute tarot appointment, it’s not going to happen.
I’m sorry. Ten hut!
