Here’s a good question to ask when your intuition tells you that something doesn’t add up: Why do I have a funny feeling about ________________?

Example: Why do I have a funny feeling about this person’s motives?

The card: Five of Cups – it’s because this person has done something in the past that has been hurtful. That water has never been put under the bridge. This person has done some serious damage in previous encounters. So it’s pretty hard to feel confident about their motives when the history is one big, fat let down. Even if they are sincere at this time, don’t ignore the previous dealings. You’ve already gotten a taste of what they are capable of.
