This week: Temperance
Temperance advises to seek the middle way. Avoid extremes. Balance is necessary at this time. Choose moderation.
In a question about making a decision, Temperance advises to weigh your options carefully. Compare both sides. Test things out before making a move.
This card can also advise taking matters into your own hands, especially if you want to see a change in a situation.
Patience is also advised when Temperance comes up in a reading. Take your time. Don’t rush matters. Let things develop organically.
In some cases, this card can also be advising to experiment. The only way to find out if something will work is by dipping a toe in the water. See what happens from there.
One more piece of advice: go with the flow!
Temperance reversed:
This can be more of a warning than anything – have you allowed things to get out of hand? Have you let everything fall apart – or are you taking control of matters to the point of being a control freak? Depending on the nature of the question, this card can be advising you to get it together – or chill the heck out.
If you cannot handle things or if your vices have gotten out of control, it may be time to seek help.
Temperance reversed can also suggest that it’s time to make a decision. Stop waffling on matters. Shit or get off the pot.
Questions to ponder:
What does it mean to be moderate? How do you make decisions? What can you do to find a middle way in all matters? In what way do you bring calm – or drama – to your life?
Blessings,
Theresa
