Do you have something lingering in your biz that you’ve outgrown?
Maybe it’s a service you no longer enjoy providing.
Perhaps it’s an opt-in that is stale and no longer gets many people on your list.
It may be a marketing technique that isn’t yielding results.
Or a client that isn’t a good fit.
Let it go.
You heard me right.
LET IT GO.
A business that regularly clears out the stagnant is a business that thrives.
Make this your manifesto: If it’s not helping me to reach my goals, if it’s not helping my clients, if it’s not drawing in new business, if it’s not worth my time, if I am not using it, if I’m not excited about it, if it drags me down, I will let it go.
This year, I let go of a program that I felt needed to be retired. The program sold well but I was ready to put it back in the vault. I also revamped my opt-in, tore down my email list, and moved to a new newsletter provider. That bold move was SCARY. I knew I’d be potentially losing a big chunk of my list. Deep breath time. BOOM! Down it all went!
But you know what? The list has been building back up nicely – and fast. The new opt-in offering has had a very positive response. Other products are selling well. In fact, last month was one of my best months ever.
When you clean up the old, you make space for the new to bubble up. You create energy, clarity, and buzz, which translates into a better business, period.
So what about you?
What are you ready to let go of?
Let it go, let it go, let it go…
Blessings!
