Got a tarot business or trying to get one started? Wondering how to maximize your potential without killing yourself (or spending a fortune)? Looking for info that will actually help you elevate your biz? I’ve got the Mad Hookups for tarotpreneurs and aspiring tarot pros. Whether you are new to the game or an old hat, check out my latest recommended posts ‘n classes ‘n tools just for you:
The most important word in your business vocabulary might be no. Victoria Prozan says it so well.
Ready to get ultra-clear and take your tarot business to the next level? Abby Kerr and Laura Simms just opened the doors for Ready To Arrive. You’re welcome. (PS I’ve taken classes or purchased products from both women – they both offer high quality stuff.)
I’m all about BFFs (Business Friends Forever). My homegirl, Lisa Walker England, wrote this post on why we need our friends in business.
Also, do read this post on finding business friends from Shenee Howard. (I LOVE her work and highly recommend her.)
I wrote a blog post about Business Frenemies that got a lot of clicks. Seems that this is a hot topic worth discussing!
Gala Darling also writes about business frenemies and how to get unstuck from that ick energy (and she mentions my post! Yay!). This line really resonates with me: “The key to getting unstuck in your own life is to learn how to become wildly excited for your friend’s success.” AMEN, sister!

How to organize a retreat. (Psst…the doors for the Soulful Proprietor Mini-Retreat will open on July 2nd. Details coming soon….)

Want to sharpen your tarot skills? Join me in Portland this July!
HOT TIP: Create a referral list of other tarot readers for those clients who are looking for a service you don’t provide or who just don’t mesh with you. For example, I don’t do tarot parties but I have a list of trusted local readers who do. I can easily refer the clients to the right resource – and bam! Everyone is happy! Do NOT be afraid of sending work away. There is always enough for all.
Newsletters to read: palmist Peggie Arvidson has an incredible newsletter. It’s not just palmistry (although she has mad skillz in that arena) – it’s also a wealth of really solid business advice. I’ve just recently signed up and have been really enjoying her biz wisdom.
Listen up: Bri and I are bringing Nikki Groom in this month on Talking Shop to talk about how to write Sales Pages that Sell. If your sales are flat, you’re about to learn how to make them rock ‘n roll! Catch all the Talking Shop archives right here.
On my beside reading stack: The 100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future <-re-reading this one. It’s a goodie!
Don’t forget: I have sweet little business ebooks just for you. At only $15 a pop, these gems will give your mystical biz a mega boost. Check out the ala carte biz goodness at Professional Mystic’s Guides. And be sure to check out my guidebook for professional readers: How To Read Tarot Under Any Circumstance.
Go on and succeed wildly, hot stepper!
