Evolution, yo

Like any good little Catholic girl, I regularly attended “CCD” (Fancy title: The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine.  Simple terms: religious education for children.)  It was my most boring hour of the week.  I mostly daydreamed through it but for some odd reason, my priest thought I was kind of holy holy. 

One day, I was sitting with my much older cousin (who was a goody two shoes and way more holy holy than I was or ever would be),  reading my CCD book together.  We came to a passage that said “We can be quiet for a minute.”

I turned and looked at her and said “No we can’t.”  She proceeded to tell on me and I got in big trouble for being “sacrilegious”.  Mind you, I was five years old and I hated being quiet or sitting still – like MOST five year olds.

I’m still kind of like that.  I get itchy and edgy when things get boring.  (Of course, what I deem to be interesting or boring is completely subjective.)

It’s that Gemini spirit.  I NEED change.  I thrive on it.

And that means constant evolution in one way or another.

I am making a few changes on my blog.  You may have already noticed one: weekly Tarot Tips.  I hope you’ve been enjoying them.  I’ll be keeping those coming along with lots o’ other juicy tarot posts.

The big change: Biz Shizzle is fizzling and instead, I’m creating a weekly business feature called Soul Proprietor.  Why?  I write a LOT on mystical business so it may as well be weekly.  Oh, and I’m creating a special email list: Soul Proprietor Monday Memos. Get on it and you’ll get these posts delivered to your inbox along with other goodies.  I’ll be doing free top secret monthly coaching calls where you can chat with me about anything related to metaphysical ‘n spiritual businesses.  Why am I doing this?  It’s because I have a ton of biz experience under my belt and I’m all about helping my fellow mystics succeed.  (It’s why I create so many products and offerings for my ilk – I really do want to help my peeps.)

One more note of things to come: my weekly Tarot Card by Card feature is almost to an end.  I’ll be compiling all that tarot goodness into a big fat ebook just for my readers.  And I’m throwing in a bunch of other tarot info so when I say fat, I mean thick and phat!   Did I mention I’ll be giving that away as a total freebie?  Yup.  It will be your hip hop tarot manual with all those badass meanings and raps compiled nice ‘n neat in a supa fly ebook.  Watch for that bad boy to drop this fall.  (I have other surprises for later this year but I want to keep those secret for now.)
