Episode Episode 97: Cazimi

First of all, I just want to say I’m a word nerd and I love the word Cazimi! Whenever I hear “Cazimi,” I always think Shazam! Remember that old tv show? The guy would yell “Shazam!” and suddenly turn into a superhero.

In a way, that’s how Cazimi operates. It’s like adding superhero powers to a planet.

So what’s Cazimi?

Cazimi occurs when a planet is in a tight conjunction with the Sun – within 17 minutes of the arc. In other words, the planets need to be as close to exact as possible. Astrologers will say that a Cazimi planet is “in the heart of the Sun.” This gives the planet strength or superpowers. It amplifies the energy.
