It’s that time of year again: yearly planner buying! If you’re a planning fanatic like me, there is nothing better than cracking open a new planner for the year. I love to keep my world organized and nothing works better for me than a paper planner. Even better is one with all the astrological timing mapped out. I’ve gathered a few astrological planners to review for you (with a smattering of photos). Check out my faves (it’s too hard to pick one!):
The Soul Care Planner
The Soul Care Planner from Bella de Luna is gorgeous. I love the teal hardcover and the feel of the paper inside (not glossy – you can write on it!). The size is 7 x 9 x 1, which is my preference. I don’t like a planner that is teeny or enormous. The Soul Care Planner is perfect. Ribbon bookmarks allow you to easily find your place, which I love. Look inside and get ready to swoon at the artwork:
I love the soft colors for the print inside. There are sections for weekly overviews, intention-setting, weekly to-dos, and both monthly and weekly calendars. The astrology is carefully mapped out along with suggestions for things you can do to care for yourself in the best way possible in alignment with the cosmos. This is a stunning planner with every detail you could want. I HIGHLY recommend this one!
Many Moons Planner
Sarah Faith Gottesdiener’s Many Moons Lunar Planner is for magical minds. Every Moon sign and phase is listed, making this an indispensable guide for intention-setting. The paper cover is sturdy yet flexible – and fans of spiral binding will be loving how flat it lies, making it so easy to use. Mystical art is sprinkled throughout the book in a groovy black ‘n white theme.
There are generous spaces for writing your lists, making notes, and reflecting. Rituals throughout the book and writings from 13 different witches, Tarot readers, astrologers, and herbalists add to the enchantment.
One of the features I really love is the Moon phases laid out so clearly in the monthly outlook:
Magic of I
The Magic of I Planner has been delighting astro-planners like myself for years. I’ve found them to be highly useful – and gorgeous. The size is just a tad smaller than what I prefer but not too small to be unusable. There are lots of pages for goals, action steps, and jotting down tasks.
One thing I really like: the little notes on the day such as “turns to gold” and “psychic days.” This is a quick and helpful reminder of how to best use the energy of the day! SWEET! Even if you are not astrology adept, you’ll be able to easily see which days are uh-mayzing…or not.
Honeycomb Collective Personal Astrological Almanac
I just learned about this planner from Honeycomb Collective a few weeks ago! This is custom made and totally personalized. You can choose the start and end date, which means you don’t have to wait for the turn o’ the year to get your paws on this. Spiral binding allows it to lie flat, which is convenient as can be. The paper is a bit glossy, which means your ink can smear – so you may want to refrain from using anything other than a ballpoint pen. Also: there isn’t a lot of room for writing your agenda, so this may be better suited as a personal astrological guide for the year.
There are many options to customize this astrological planner, which appeals to me. If you’re well-versed in astrology, you’ll want this by your side to map out your year. If you’re a beginner, it might be overwhelming. But hey, that might be the perfect nudge to take an astrology class! Take a peek inside and you’ll see what I mean:
I’m totally geeking out on mine! Haha!
Llewellyn’s Daily Planetary Guide
I’ve been using this annual handbook since the beginning of time. The Llewellyn Daily Planetary Guide has been a steady and easy-to-use astrological friend for many years. Whether you’re new or old to astrology, you’ll appreciate the easy to understand info inside. Everything is neatly spelled out:
Every day, you get a clear picture of what is happening in the cosmos. There is room to write your agenda. It’s not a lot of room and there are no spaces for setting goals or intentions. But that being said, if you want a no-frills reliable, and easy-to-use astrological planner, this would suffice. Heck, it’s worked for me all these years so why not for you?
The Go Time Planner
My copy of the Go Time Planner just shipped so I’ll update this with pics soon. This is the mother of all planners: big, bold, and tons of space for writing down every detail of your day, goals, and more. This is feminist AF with quotes from inspirational women. The astro part? I did that. Simple “Astro-Glances” help you to navigate your day and year like a badass BO$$. This is the ideal planner for entrepreneurs and go-getters who want to navigate the stars without complicated astro-jargon. Get a peek at this lusciousness right here (scroll down to see the video!).
Alright friends, there ya have it. I hope this helps you find a great astrological planner in that round-up to set your 2021 up for success! Happy planning!
