Today I am heading back home after a blissful week away at the annual Reader’s Studio tarot conference. I am coming home with new relationships, tarot swag, ideas, and skills.
That is the beauty of conferences. They allow you to expand your work, your network, and yourself – sometimes in ways you don’t expect. I am a firm believer that every entrepreneur should invest in a yearly conference if their funds permit.
My rule of thumb is two conferences a year. One is strictly for my industry to develop my skills and the other is a business conference to help me to up my biz game. I think this is a smart strategy to follow.
Growing both your craft and business skills is important because you want to evolve, find new ways to be better at your work but also stay current on business trends. This allows you to continue to serve your clients well.
Because ultimately, that’s what it’s all about: our clients.
The more you know, the better for them.
Blessings,
Theresa
